Hope for the journey
There is no way to prepare for the experience of grieving the loss of a loved one. you can, however, learn ahead about what you might expect along the journey.
This is not a step-by-step list of what will happen during grief, but rather, an outline of some common experiences during grief. For some people, feeling mentally aware can ease the fear of the unknown.
Bereavement education can be for people experiencing anticipatory grief (in the event of a loved one receiving a terminal diagnosis), or for friends or family members of those experiencing grief so that they better understand the pain their friend is going through.
Since most bereavement education involves unique circumstances, please contact me and we can discuss the options that will suit you the best.
