Joy in the middle of our messy lives can is sometimes found found in unexpected places.

Loving deeply leaves a mark, that is for sure; but the alternative is to not love. I will continue to choose love. I will dance in the waves knowing that they will be both soft and fierce because this is what it means to be alive and human.
